Artwork for directional signs need to be sized the same as the size of the sign that is being ordered. The safe space inside the artwork is .5" from each edge. If you place text or pictures outside this space, it will be cut off. Artwork that has color going all the way to the edge will receive a .25" border when printed.

The color space should be set to CMYK. Most monitors and programs use RGB, the program used to print can be unpredictable when transferring to CMYK from RGB. To understand the colors you will get, please use CMYK.

Resolution should be minimum 150DPI and we recommend 300DPI. Vector Artwork is preferred.

All text needs to be "expanded" or "outlined". We probably do not have the font you used, so if we open the file it will show errors and not print properly.

While we do check for major issues, we will ultimately print whatever you send. We are not responsible for legality, artwork or color issues when providing your artwork. If you ask us to make edits or changes to your artwork, we will charge a fee. Artwork fees range from $10-35 depending on the edits and changes required. This is labor, billed in advance and non-refundable.

Production time

Standard production is 3 business days. Rush options are available. If custom artwork is supplied or used then production time does not start until approval or confirmation of receipt

These are standard production items and as such do not have a proof sent before production. The information provided at the time of ordering is used to create the artwork associated. Please make sure your information is correct in your order. We are not responsible for misspellings, incorrect colors, or other issues arising from the purchase.

Materials and Specifications

The standard print material is white corrugated plastic. This material is weather resistant.

These templates have been reviewed and approved by KW Manassas and meet advertising requirements in MD, VA, and DC. The phone number at the bottom is the broker's number as required in all states for THAT office only.
